Pa Langga’s Café started with a great friendship, a passion for food, and a love for the students. The owner Leslie Jane P. Cruz and Lourdes D.Ong have been best friends since childhood; they became separated during their college days. Two decades pass, with them not seeing each other, finally Leslie and Lourdes meet in Manila. Finding out, Leslie worked in a logistic company and Lourdes as a teacher. After Lourdes worked and lived for sixteen years in Manila, she decided to leave for good and convince Leslie to go home to their place, Sapad, Lanao del Norte to start their business. Both of them have had the potential to be a cook since they were kids. After some other time, they finally see their plan becoming true and naming their business Pa Langga. The name came from their nicknames Pangga for Lourdes and Langlang for Leslie. They were attracted by the name  "Pa Langga" since it came from their local language which means “Love”.
